Submit your Articles to the Best Article Submission Sites

Article marketing can reward you with a number of significant benefits. If done properly, it can generate monthly income for your online business. It can bring in loads of traffic. And it can improve the Page Rank of your site. But, if you just write one or two articles a week, you will not accomplish any of these goals. You have to write at least four to five articles a week (one a day would be better and three a day would be best) and you have to submit your articles to the best article submission sites.

What do I mean by the best articles submission sites? For the most part, these are the largest article directories, and usually include sites with a Page Rank of four and above. It does you little good to submit your articles to a site that gets little traffic.

That is why it is important to track your articles and check on the number of page views that your articles are getting once a month. If the article directory allows you to check your article stats, do so. Using that feature, you can determine the number of page views your articles are getting. If your articles are receiving few, if any, page views, stop submitting to them and submit to another.

If the article directory does not have an option to check your stats, a good stat counter can supply you with that information if you are linking your articles to your website (and you should be).

In addition to submitting your articles to the best article submission sites, you should also submit them to a number of directories that are related to your niche. Normally, these sites will attract people that are actively looking for information on a particular subject. If you are promoting a product or your website, this is a very good place to submit articles to generate interested prospects.

So, in closing, do not submit articles to the very small or new directories. Submit them where it will benefit you most. Send them to the best article submission sites. That way, if the articles are well written. You know that you will get your fair share of page views.

How to Get your Website Listed by the Search Engines in Less Than 48 Hours

A search engine listing is almost an absolute necessity in order to drive traffic to your website. After all, if the search engines don’t know where your website is, who does? When promoting your site, it is understandably your goal to drive as much targeted traffic as possible to your site and as quickly as you can.

Did you know that using the website submission form offered by Google will take six weeks just to get your site indexed? Fortunately, there is an easier and faster way.

Getting listed by Google in less than two days can be done without any fancy footwork or shady methods. The key is to utilize the search engines the way they are designed to work. The internet is called “The Web” for a very good reason. Search engines find new websites by visiting websites that already exist in their index. From those sites they follow all of the links in order to visit other sites. Then they’ll visit those websites and all of their links and so on. This is called “crawling”. Search engines crawl websites in order to find new information to place in their index of search results. Armed with this knowledge, it is simple to get your website indexed quickly.

A very effective way to get your site noticed by the search engines quickly is to write an informative article related to the content of your website and submit your article to the numerous article directories on the internet. You can do a search for “Article Directory”. There you can submit your articles free of charge. You can also use an article submission service that will mass submit your articles to scores of article directories for a reasonable fee. When the spider makes its daily crawl of the article directories, your article with a link to your website will be discovered. Eureka, your website just got listed.

Another way to get your website listed quickly is to exchange links with a website that is related or similar to your website. You want to approach website owners whose website has a high page rank. The Google Toolbar has an option that shows a websites page rank. Once you’ve found several websites like this, search the website for the owners contact information. Once you find their contact information send them an email asking if they will link to your website in return for linking back to their website. If you do this correctly and professionally, they will respond and place a link on their website to yours. If you can manage to get 1 PR6 website to link to your website, you should be indexed by Google in less than 3 days. If you can get 1 PR7 website to link to you, in most cases, you will be in Google’s index in less than 24 hours.

If you do not have much luck getting a high ranking website to exchange links with you, there is an alternative. Purchase a link from a high page rank website. The easiest and fastest way to do this is to visit the link purchasing websites. Here are a few of the better ones: textlinkbrokers, text-link ads, and linkadage. You should be able to purchase a PR7 link for 1 month at $150. After the month is up, there is no need to renew because you are in Google’s index. Needless to say, for something around $150 you can be indexed by Google within 24 hours with no work on your part.

You can also use a more traditional free method like posting in forums. If you choose this route, be careful not to spam. Follow the posted rules, give helpful answers, and do not go overboard on your “signature file”. Private forums are not always indexed. Make certain that the forums display recent posts and get listed in search results.

You can also try getting your site mentioned in news releases, and blogs.

As you can see, getting your website indexed by the search engines in less than 48 hours is not a miracle feat. Using the search engines the way they are designed to work is the quickest and most effective means to obtaining your goal.

E-commerce is a cut throat business. You have to arm yourself with the proper know-how and the tools to make your site a cut above the rest. Each day, more and more sites are clambering to optimize their rankings in search engines and if you lose your

guard, you may just get trampled on and be left in the abyss filled with so many failed e-commerce sites.

Search Engine Optimization or SEO is a term widely used today by many e-commerce sites. For the past few years and the next ten years or so, search engines will still be the most widely used internet tool.

Most people that use search engines only click on the top ten search results in the first page. Making it to the first page or even to the top three is a barometer of a sites success in search engine optimization. You will get a higher ratio of probability of being clicked on when you rank high, resulting into more traffic (thousands of visitors per day) for your site, implying more leads or sales. The best part of SEO is, you get all this immense traffic and high sales volume for free.

So just what is search engine optimization and do you have to use it? The answer to why you have to use it is an easy one. You need search engine optimization to be number one, or may be at least make your site income generating.

Search engine optimization requires a lot of work to be fully realized. There are many aspects you have to change in your site or add as well to be search engine optimized. These will include getting lots of information about the keyword phrases that are popular in regards to your sites niche or theme. You may also need to rewrite your sites contents so that you could get the right keyword phrases in your site without making it too commercial but light and informative. There are certain rules and guidelines to be followed with making your site’s content applicable and conducive to search engine. You will also need to collaborate with many other sites so that you could get link exchanges and page transfers. The more links you have pointing to your sites from other site or domain the higher your site ranking in search engines.

SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMIZATION TECHNIQUES

Insert keywords or key phrases in your title tag.

Avoid linking to link-farms or irrelevant sites. In other words if your pages do not contain any words that reflect the content of the site you are linking to, do not link to it.

Make sure that the text within the title tag is also within the body of the page. Use H1 and bold tags on your keywords once or twice especially at the top of the page.

Do not use the exact same title tag on every page on your website. This is viewed as duplicate content by search engine robots.

Design your page titles to be simple and descriptive, making it easier for search engines to know what each page is about and visitors scanning through search results can easily determine whether your document contains what they are looking for.

Try to add fresh content to your site daily, if possible. Search engine robots like fresh content.

If your site contains plenty of links (pages), you must create a sitemap in XML format (according to Google guideline) and submit it here http://www.google.com/webmasters/sitemaps/login. As a matter of fact you must do this if you want all your pages indexed in Google, and on time. For those of us that might be wondering how to create a sitemap in XML format, you can have your site map created using software, visit the link below http://www.walmol.com/bestbuy/secretspidergenerator.php

Avoid dynamic URLs. These are links with question mark (?). Spiders can’t read these links; instead try using human readable URLs.

When using images, use ALT tags to describe your images. Search engines robots can’t read images but can read ALT tags.

Do not use a submission service; most of them are nothing but spam machines. If you must use submission software, I recommend you use Trellian Submit Wolf. Visit the link below to learn more.

SEO Traffic Spider | Strategies That Speak Results in SEO

Today almost all the businesses are looking to increase their ROI from their website. With that, they are also looking at ways and methods by which they can increase their website traffic and maximize their online presence.

The 5 strategies listed in this article will help you in not only optimizing your website for increasing your customers but also improving the cash flow from your website. The information that is summarized below will help you in getting immediate results for your business.

Strategy 1: Setting Your Goals
A website without a goal is like shooting a bullet in the dark. Just as the bullet looks for a target, so do Internet Marketers needs to prioritize their goals as to what they expect from their website. Most of the Internet Marketers have primarily 2 goals in mind:

1. Building quality leads, and
2. Increasing the number of leads.

In order to achieve the above, it is important that your website is crafted in such a way that it can encompass the following:

Attention: Your website should be well designed and contain valuable and informative content that can attract more and more visitors from the search engines.

Interest: Your website should be able to display the advantages of your products and services such that there is an interest in the visitor to know more about your product/service.

Decision: Your website should be able to illustrate to the visitor that by purchasing the respective product/service they would be making a smart decision.

Action: Your website should be able to cut through your competition and ensure that the prospect converts to a customer.

Strategy 2: Conversion Optimization
It’s a known fact that nearly 50% of the visitors are lost because they cannot find the product or service they are looking for. If this is true, then where are the visitors going? Are you tracking the conversions that are happening on your website? For example, you had 50 visits today. Out of the 50 that visited, 30 went to the product/service page. Out of that only 10 clicked on the sign up link and finally only 2 paid. This is what needs to be tracked and you should find out where were the points or the pages from where the visitors left and what were the reasons for their exit.

Some points to ponder on:
1. Is my websites’ navigation confusing?
2. Does it display a value proposition that would benefit the visitor
3. Are my headlines able to elicit action?
4. Is my content unique and keyword friendly?
5. Does my website offer a risk free guarantee?
6. Do I have testimonials on every page of my website?
7. Does my website look professional?
8. Does my website have VeriSign certificate?

A well designed website can definitely change the perspective of the visitor and that’s something that you would like to ensure in your website. Once you have succeeded in building a well developed website, your sales will increase, conversion rates will shoot up, customer retention will increase, and finally you will get rid of all that stress.

Strategy 3: Driving Immediate Traffic To Your Website
The fastest way by which you can beat the competition with a new website is by first performing AdWords Optimization. With AdWords Optimization, you can immediately beat your competitors and maximize your profits from day one itself. Unfortunately, many internet marketers fail in their initial attempts to either take advantage of this laser targeted traffic generating method or by not monitoring and managing their AdWords campaigns on a regular basis.

The Solution!
Identify the client acquisition cost! Let us consider a hypothetical case where the profit made on the sale of a product is $250. Per the data available, a sale is made from 250 visits. Therefore the visitor value is $1.00 for each visitor to book a profit! The best solution would be to bid low and keep a constant track on the metrics and performance of your campaigns.  Then tweak them as and when necessary.

Also, create unique advertisements that are focused around your main keywords. These advertisements can then be split tested based on the CTR – click through rate to see which ad is performing better when compared to others.

Strategy 4: SEO – Search Engine Optimization To Improve Your Ranking
In order to improve the ranking of your website, you need to ensure that your website is submitted to those sites (Directory Submission Sites, Article Submission Sites, Press Release Sites, Reciprocal Linking sites) that have a good page rank.

Points to note:
• Ensure that your website gets a huge number of relevant and quality links than your competitors.
• Ensure that the anchor text that is used in your website has the keywords that are present in the content of your web page.

Strategy 5: Testing & Tracking
The key to the success of your business lies in maintaining, monitoring, and managing your metrics. The metrics will tell you exactly as to what is converting and what is not.

For example:
What amount of sales happened yesterday?
Which page of your website converted the most?
From which location did the maximum number of visitors come?
What is my ROI?

The 5 strategies explained above will surely get you results that you would have never imagined if you implement and execute them correctly.

Website Submission – What You May Not Know About Search Engine Indexing

Getting your website listed in the search engines is relatively
easy if you submit it, but even if you don’t you can still get
your website indexed by the larger search engines by following a
few simple tips. The reason for this is the search engines
spiders search the web on a daily basis looking for new websites
to index, old ones that are no longer valid, and the like. So,
if you follow these simple steps, the search engines spiders
will pick up your website and index it without you even having
to submit it. As a matter of fact, you will generally see your
website appear in the search engines faster by simply using
other methods to get listed instead of submitting your URL.
Follow these suggestions and the spiders will pick up your site
when they are out making their rounds.

Tip #1 – Links

Links to your web page on the Internet basically tell the search
engines how popular your website is. So, if you have tons of
links, your website will be considered very popular and as a
result be ranked well with the search engines. The fewer links
you have makes your site less popular so if you want the search
engines to index your site without submitting it, make sure you
have a lot of websites linking to you.

Tip #2 – Keywords

Keywords are another thing the search engines look for and
you’ll want to include them on your website. The more relevant
keywords you have on your website in meta tags, titles, and the
beginnings of paragraphs, the quicker your site will get ranked
well for your desired search phrases.

Tip #3 – No Frames

If you really want the search engines to pick up your site
without you having to submit it, you better be sure you have a
website that does not use frames. The reason for this is that
websites using frames create problems for the search engines and
a lot of times the site is not recognized, not to mention
indexed. Avoid frames at all costs because the search engines
hate them… there really is no use for them.

Tip #4 – Fully Constructed

You will also need to make sure that your website is fully
constructed with no pages still under construction or waiting to
be completed. You may not get indexed by the search engines with
an “under construction” website because they only want to index
complete web sites that are ready for visitors

Search Engine Lifecycle of a Website (part 2) ? Off-site Optimisation

So you have created your website and taken time to use key Search Engine Optimisation techniques. The next phases in this life cycle are concerned with the processes you use off-line to maximize the performance of your website. Below is an overview of what you can expect.

Month 4 – Google acknowledged your site. Some traffic and orders come to your site.

In the meantime continue to do the following:

To run a modern site you need to have referrals available

Anytime. To keep an eye on this get a quality logger/tracker.

Change host if your current one does not allow referrers.
Regularly check your linking system to ensure search engine spiders can crawl effectively over your site.
Submit your website details to niche directories for your

keywords.
Find sites that have links pages or who exchange links

Freely. Try to swap links with one fresh site per day. Just send them an e-mail and request a swap. If they refuse don’t worry and don’t give up.
Keep up with writing the content each day. Write topical articles and minimize ‘blog’ type personal stuff. Study the ‘webspeak’ that works with the visitors and develop your writing skills. Write for speed of reading; use text breaks, short sentences, bullet points etc. Remember surfers scan not read.
Avoid gimmicks on your site or anything that appears to be spam or unethical.
When you receive a request for a link, make sure you check out the site. Do not link with a site just for the sake of it. Check them in Google and get their pr value, look for listings in directories, check the topic and site is similar to yours.
Use other ways to advertise your website. Tap into social bookmarking sites, forums and mailing lists. Read as much as you can from the top forums for internet marketing.
Check out keyword suggestion tools for new ideas for fresh content pages.
Do regular web traffic analysis and study your logs. Give search engines what they need to get to your site. In your logs look for the keywords people are using. Found a new word? Build a fresh page around it. Study these logs carefully. Keyword optimization will ensure better conversion rates of visitors to customers.

Months 5 to 12 – Orders trickle in. Google and other SE’s have not featured your site.

Keep up to date with developments in your keyword sector. Find out what the big sites are doing and get ahead of the game. Prepare pages in anticipation of a big site coming out with a new product. Networking is important for the ongoing success of your website. Interact with colleagues in the forums. Your learning accelerates by networking not just reading or lurking around. It can bring you tips, links and will keep you aware of what is new in the internet world.
Be prepared to make notes. If you are aiming to build a page a day, you will need to be inspired and have a way to record that inspiration. Keep a note book of your ideas as they come so that you do not forget them.
You should know what comes next…

Google loves content – quality content. After a year you should have over 400 pages of broad based content with a wide range of keywords. You will be placed well under a good range of keywords, receive more reciprocal links and put your in a good position to start making your site create money for you. You should be seeing around 500 to 2000 referrals per day from search engines. More pages will increase the possibility of more referrals.

Month 19 – Your site has finally begun to feature on page 2 or 3 of the Google listing and other SE’s. Consequently your orders increase.

Continue optimizing your site and you can expect to see your site feature on page 1 of Google’s listings and other search engines for most key phrases and words.

It should be apparent that creating a money making website entails a lot of patience and hard work. If you follow these basic steps and commit to learning and updating your knowledge success will surely follow. Start to check out sites and forums that are available to help you in your endeavour to create an internet business. Have fun and stay positive.

Authority Linking Sites – Finding the Best

In the backlink heyday, getting backlinks was simple. Find every directory site, submit your URL, sit back and watch your rankings move up. Not so today. You shouldn’t write off directories because they’ve been abused in the past. You just need to be more selective and willing to hand over a little cash somtimes.

DMOZ: Ah yes, the open source directory project (ODP). Most people who submit their sites don’t get in. They have strict guidelines that must be followed exactly. My guess is they have an “algorithm”, much like Google, that weeds out sites based on age and topic. That means you may not be able to get in for several years. Since DMOZ is so picky, I recommend not submitting your site if it’s brand new. Why? Because you only get one chance. Once you’ve submitted your site, and if it gets rejected, you can’t submit again. You’re done. If you’ve had a site for several years, give it a shot. If not, wait until you’ve established some credibility.

Paid Directories: The only paid directories I recommend are Best of The Web, Joeant, GoGuides, and Gimpsy. These are well established directories that have strict policies. I love paid directories because they are well kept and, let’s face it, paying a monetary price keeps at least 90% of the rats out. And, at least with these two directories, you’re not guaranteed to get in. So, even if someone can pay, they still have to follow the submission guidelines and be able to speak english.

Authority Blogs: You can get great links from authority blogs. But I have to issue a huge disclaimer: you can absolutely ruin yourself if you’re not careful. I have a friend who posted a comment on a blog that the blog owner thought was spammy. Guess what? The blog owner started spreading my friend’s name around as a spammer. Not good. My friend had to get clients to go to the blog and post “kudos” comments to get the guy to stop. The bad thing about posting on an authority blog is that bad publicity is going to spread a lot faster. You might be the #1 position for “your name spammer”. Ouch! So, keep your comments short and focused on the post itself.

Hub Sites: These are sites that link to your competition. In a nutshell, if you can find a site which is linking to your competitors, there’s a good chance they’ll link to you too. You should, at a minimum, get links at the same places your competition is getting links.

Inside Jobs: If you have friends or family that happen to work at a school, in the government, or maybe a newspaper, ask for a link. Offer something for free in return for the link. You might even be able to pay a nominal fee to get a permanent link or be a featured speaker at some point.

These are just several techniques you can use to get legitimate links that will actually help you rank higher in the search engines. If it sounds like too much work, remember that most webmasters are not going to do what it takes to get ranked higher. Most people give up and resort to foolish tactics that only hurt their sites.

The search engines will reward you for putting in the work.
